Welcome and nice to see you at takeslides.

Takeslides was launched at the beginning of the month as an application at hi5.com.

Actually it wasn't  planned to be that way (so soon), but we're happy it did.

We're working on adding some new exciting features. They will all be announced soon  and we hope that  you will all enjoy them.

As you can see we have just added the "invite friends" stuff, to make it easy for any one of us to invite his or hers friends to the application, to recommend a slideshow, or even just  if something came to your mind, you can use the component to send a message instantly easily.

One of the things that I mostly enjoyed watching is to see that there are so many people using this application from so many different places all over the world.  looking at the visitors "map overlay", I found out that you're coming from 145 countries. That is really nice to see. More about it in the future.

About the slideshows:

As you could have seen already, most of the slideshows are from public albums. it let us see what's people from all over the world are tagging. That's nice and interesting. Also the nice part about it is that these albums are always with fresh content, all coming from rss feeds. We'll talk about that too soon in the future.

Yet, these albums could be your own albums.

Some of you have already submitted their albums, so they know what I'm talking about.  As I said we're working on making all the "submitting" stuff to be much easier.

You are all welcome to use this blog: some of you as readers, some to add their comments, or other to post your articles. The blog is opened to any one who as joined "takeslides.com".
